Teena Barbre, MFT Adults, Couples, Family
Professional Statement
Hi, I’m Dr. Teena Barbre – or just Teena, if you prefer. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, based in California. I offer therapy to clients across the state via telehealth, working with individuals, couples, and families. My Approach I believe that every session is an opportunity for meaningful progress. I take a goal-oriented and collaborative approach, drawing from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to tailor our work to your unique needs. My style allows me to remain flexible and adaptive, ensuring that therapy is both effective and personally meaningful. My Focus I specialize in helping people who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and life transitions. Whether you're struggling with a recent change or working through long-standing patterns, I aim to help you build resilience, feel more in control, and create a more fulfilling and balanced life. My Communication Style I’m honest, direct, and compassionate. I truly listen, and I’ll tell you what you need to hear—even when it’s hard—because that’s often where real growth happens. Therapy isn’t always easy, but it is worth it. My goal is to create a safe space where you can face challenges head-on and come out stronger on the other side.
