Hello there, my name is Simone Scott and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years’ experience providing therapy to a variety of diverse populations and backgrounds. It takes great strength to ask for help when you’re struggling, so I commend you for taking the first step in your journey towards healing. Healing is a powerful transformative process in which I feel truly honored to be part of. The ability to overcome and transcend are some of my core beliefs, and I consider our time together sacred. Our work together will focus on the areas of your life that are inhibiting the power of your full potential. We all need our pain witnessed and validated to move beyond where we feel ‘stuck’. Through compassion, empathic listening, and exploration, I support my clients’ growth in a supportive, honest, and forthright approach. My approach is client centered. I utilize a variety of strengths-based, trauma-informed treatment therapies to best meet the needs and goals of my patients. In my experience providing therapy to a variety of individuals in various settings, my aim is to foster hope, healing, and resilience through a collaborative and compassionate approach. I specialize in trauma, depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, and significant life changes. Currently, my client focus is the young adult, adult, and older adult populations. My communication style can be characterized as open, honest, and direct but supportive and compassionate. I strive to provide my clients with a safe, confidential, and sacred space where we can openly communicate and collaborate. My journey to becoming a therapist is simple: I wanted to become the person I needed the most at certain points in my life. When it comes to goal setting with clients, my aim is to foster hope, healing, and resilience through a collaborative and compassionate approach.
