Shabnam Cherry, MFT Adolescents, Adults, Children, Family
Professional Statement
Shabnam Cherry has over twenty years of experience supporting children, teenagers, adults, and families across diverse settings. She has a deep commitment to helping individuals and families heal and grow. She has worked in private practice, non-profit agencies, group homes, and as a professional foster parent. Shabnam believes in each person’s capacity for resilience and positive change. Whether working with a child overcoming fears, a teenager managing stress, a young adult navigating a new relationship, or a family rebuilding connections, she provides guidance and encouragement along the way. Through cognitive behavioral therapy, she helps reframe negative thought patterns and build coping skills for everyday life. With children and teenagers, she often utilizes role-play and storytelling to make sessions engaging and age appropriate. Her goal is to ensure that every client feels safe, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
