Phil Takakjian, PhD is a well-trained and thoroughly experienced Clinical Psychologist who has been in the field of psychotherapy for over 30 years. In addition to being a sound generalist, he specializes in the treatment of Addiction, Trauma and Psychosomatic (mind/body) Disorders. While his Relational Therapy approach Is rooted in the traditions and practices of western psychology he is also thoroughly cross trained in Eastern Wisdom Traditions - specifically Buddhism. Phil has for 20 years, trained in and practiced Zen Buddhism. Phil asks, "How can we relieve the suffering of a whole person if we do not treat the whole person?"
