Professional Statement

Hello, my name is Nancy Pierson, Licensed marriage and family therapist. I work with adults struggling with a range of mental health topics from relationship issues, aging issues, grief and loss, and more. I am effective in utilizing CBT, psychodynamic approach and person-centered modalities. Therapy is a safe place to share, problem solve and move towards acceptance of the present. I provide a positive and supportive environment to share and dissect one's difficult issues and stressors. Life stressors are something we all struggle with daily, I am able to assist clients with identifying stressors and develop coping skills to lessen the negative impact and explore ways to find enjoyment in life. The first session is a time for you to share and help me get to know you in order to establish a therapeutic relationship.
