Life is beautiful, but it can also be difficult. It can throw unexpected challenges at you, whether that's stress, a new transition, depression, anxiety, loss, a traumatic experience, etc. These experiences can leave you feeling sad, scared, alone, hopeless, empty and lost. They may keep you from experiencing the beauty and joy of life. It’s okay to ask for help. Monica has been practicing for four years. Monica received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara and her Master in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University, Santa Barbara. She has had experience working with adults in theirs 20s and 30s using a Client Centered Approach. Monica is known for her warm and compassionate approach. She believes in a team effort in working closely with her clients to develop individualized plans that meet their unique needs/goals. Monica strives to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts/feelings. Monica believes that by working in a collaborative approach, her clients can overcome any challenges.
