Lindsay Wood, MFT Adults and Couples Psychotherapy
Professional Statement
Hi there, my name is Lindsay and I am passionate about therapy and its ability to help us heal and grow. I earned my Masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy at Azusa Pacific University. I am currently working towards completing my BBS hours of experience to become a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor as well. Over the past several years I have worked with children, adults, and couples while at West End Counseling Services, Azusa Pacific Community Counseling Center, and the Fullerton School District. I am a dedicated therapist who is committed to helping my clients pursue a journey of personal growth and development that allows them to fulfill their greatest potential and achieve a happier and healthier life overall. I am 100% client-centered. In my practice you will always be welcomed into a non-judgmental and caring space to share your story. I use a holistic approach focusing on all aspects of an individual versus only addressing the symptom/ problem. I enjoy working with all populations of clients, especially, individuals, couples, and families facing issues within their relationships or having personal struggles of their own such as depression, abuse, grief/loss, addiction, self-esteem, identity, etc. I am an optimistic, compassionate therapist who strives to ensure my clients have an open, comfortable, and safe place to engage in the therapy process.
