Kristen Morar, MFT Children, Adolescents, Adults, Couples, and Families Psychotherapy
Professional Statement
My name is Kristen Morar and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. I believe it is my honor to partner with individuals, couples, and families to walk along side them as they face some of life’s greatest challenges. I believe we have a light and strength within all of us that gets crippled under stress or hardship. My goal is to use interventions and techniques to teach clients how to regain control of their emotions, flourish in their relationships, and stifle their self doubt. Everyone is so deserving to live a life free of anxiety, depression, and insecurity and it is my honor to partner with you as you achieve your goals. I work hard to create an open, safe, and collaborative environment where you have the freedom and space to grow without advice or judgement. I use techniques from Carl Rogers, CBT, REBT, among others to deepen one’s understanding of themself and increase their self awareness. The more we know about ourselves and our own internal workings the more control we have over our lives to create positive, lasting change.
