Kelli McLean, MFT Children, Adolescents, and Adults Psychotherapy
Professional Statement
Psychotherapy is unique & takes courage. It's fulfilling-yet challenging. Using empathy, collaboration, intuition, open mindedness & humor, we will identify automatic ways of thinking, & behaving- that show up as internal conflict, self sabotage, low self esteem, depression, relationship struggles & anxiety. I have a wide array of experience, working with diverse populations, including POC, those experiencing homelessness, those experiencing psychosis, queer identified folks, folks with complex PTSD, folks with personality disorders, folks with learning differences, & students with achievement struggles and imposter syndrome. I believe that every client has the capacity to actualize, heal, and lead a fulfilling life. I'm warm & collaborative, process oriented & interactive. I am not directive or authoritative. I provide a safe space for you to process your thoughts and emotions. I believe that the therapeutic relationship provides a reparative experience & facilitates healing. Contacting a therapist can be overwhelming! Doing so takes courage, and shows your innate desire to heal. Vulnerability is a great strength. Let go of who you think you should be and embrace the freedom of your true authenticity. "Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do."
