Professional Statement
Each client's needs are different. I work from a client centered and humanistic approach, which allows me to personalize the treatment to suit each individual; implementing and utilizing approaches that are best suited for and tailored to meet their needs rather than a specific therapeutic modality. I work from a strength based orientation, utilizing past and current skills as well as gaining new ones to assist the client in overcoming life challenges and improving their quality of life or achieving their goals. I work with clients who have diagnoses across the board ranging from substance use, autism, to schizophrenia. My specialty is being able to work with a variety of individuals and assist them in accessing the resources and tools that are available to them and implementing them in a manner that is meaningful to them in their daily lives. Having a space to express yourself or explore your concerns/worries/troubles is something we should all have. I honor the therapeutic relationship and believe that it is the foundation to helping clients. I invite you to allow me to hold that space for you and join you on your journey of healing.
