Professional Statement

I have been in the helping profession for over 12 years working with adolescents and adults in various settings such as schools, residential treatment, primary care clinics and community mental health. I have worked in various settings rich with diverse cultures and have extensive knowledge of working with trauma, grief, codependency, depression, anxiety and adjustment to life stages. We all have hardships in our lives that at times feel insurmountable. I believe in each of our abilities to meet these obstacles, learn from them and turn them into some of our greatest opportunities for growth. As we work together in an authentic, safe and nurturing environment, my hope is that you will gain insight, tools, strength and self-compassion to help you and your relationships flourish. Entering into this self-work can feel scary like you're starting a journey that you don't know where the path leads, I would be honored to walk alongside you and look forward to meeting you.
