Jennifer Collins, MFT Children, Adolescents, Adults, Couples, and Families Psychotherapy
Professional Statement
My name is Jennifer, but most people call me Jen. A little bit about me is that my dad was in the military so I traveled around a lot. I was born in New York, then lived in Germany, Virginia and then Texas before finally settling in California. I attended three different high schools before graduating. Needless to say, I am quite familiar with having to learn how to start over. As frustrating as this was as a child, I believe this has equipped me learn to take on change with confidence as an adult. I have always been fascinated with the field of psychology and the study of human behavior for as long as I can remember. I have worked in Home Day Care, was a Preschool Teacher for a number of years, did volunteer work with a non-profit organization and have many years’ experience as a mental health therapist. I have two Masters Degrees; one in Marriage and Family Therapy and the second in Forensic Psychology. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and conducted individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. I am always excited to help those that are seeking support in their desire to overcome challenges and have a high success rate in helping clients achieve their goals.
