Entering therapy is not always easy, but an important step towards change. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process that both my clients and I work on as a team. Trust, empathy, experience, and education are key components to successful treatment that produces long term sustainable results. I hold a B.S. in psychology with an emphasis in law and criminal behavior, a M.S. in clinical psychology, and a Psy. D. My training and experience in forensic, hospital, inpatient, and private practice settings allows for a wide range of therapeutic experiences that allows for a wide range of treatment interventions with my clients. I am CBT (cognitive- behavioral) and DBT(dialectical- behavioral) trained. I believe in evidence based treatments that will provide long term change.
