Amber Steward Davis, MFT Adults, Couples
Professional Statement
I was licensed in November 1997 & have experience working with clients, who struggle with chemical dependency, codependency, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief & loss, dysfunctional relationships, family of origin issues, pervasive negative patterns & phase of life problems. I work as an empathic guide by meeting you where you are, listening to your story & creating attainable goals that fit into your life. I work with adults & couples - preferably in person. When appropriate, I like to invite family member(s) as a supportive means. I use various modalities to help you find yourself: Psychodynamic/Self Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Hypnotherapy, EFT, Active Listening in Communication & Relational Skills Building, Family Systems, & Relaxation Skills. I utilize QHHT/Past Life Regression as needed to find answers to the problems affecting you today. I believe you have an inner knowing of who you are & where you want to go when you are ready. As trust is established, you know that I accept you as you are, no 'shoulds', to open up with me - so we can work as a Team in understanding your pain & interpreting your experience through active listening & compassion for the art of being fully human. Together, we shall help you discover your path to 'finding' who you were meant to be. You are worth it!
