James Thatcher, PsyD Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy
Professional Statement
Working with children, teens, young adults, and their families has been a passion and a trained specialty of mine for over 10 years. I have experience in working with individuals and their families in dealing with behavioral problems, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, neuro-developmental issues, along with other challenges of day-to-day living.
My therapy approach is never pre-determined before we meet: Whether it is cognitive-behavior therapy, relationship/family approach, or more dynamic or insight oriented; we work together to find the approach that best fits you and your concerns or needs.
I am a believer that no problem is beyond hope and that change is possible, though not without some hard-work, perseverance, and adapting our approaches and attitudes.
