Jake Kurily, MFT Adults
Professional Statement
Jake Kurily is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received his M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University. Jake has close to a decade of diverse experience, which includes working with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children from all different cultural, ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Growing up, he struggled with several behavioral and mental health-related issues. He was able to manage his symptoms with the help of a therapist, and he has always wanted to do the same for others. Jake approaches the clients as the expert on what they need and aims to create a safe environment while partnering with clients to foster healing, introspection, and growth. He believes that his style is warm, empathic, and non-judgmental, yet straightforward. When working with Jake, people can expect to find him welcoming when they first meet him. Additionally, he is willing to work just as hard as the client is to help them achieve their treatment goals.
