Professional Statement
My main interests and concerns rest with the LGBT community. I have specialty interests in helping gay men and lesbian women with the conflicts regarding coming out, with being gay or lesbian in a straight marriage, with the anxiety and depression that can arise in such situations, with relationship problems in same sex relationships, and with PTSD and other forms of trauma within the LGBT community. I can also help with bipolar disorder and adult ADD and ADHD. While I enjoy my clinical practice through PAWC, I also consult for Health Right 360 organization, mainly provide treatment for HIV, LGBT and dually diagnosed patients in highly recognized programs such as Walden House, Haight Ashbury Free Clinic and Tenderloin Health Center (formerly known Glide) in San Francisco. I also serve as Assistant Clinical Professor for Department of Psychiatry, University of California San Francisco, School of Medicine.
