Professional Statement

My goal in therapy practice is to create a safe space to explore and express freely, heal and have a more expansive life. Though I am trained in many techniques, each therapeutic relationship is unique. My approach is eclectic. I use relationship oriented, psychodynamic, attachment and CBT frameworks among others. My first experience in the field of mental health was 2 years spent living in a therapeutic community in London as a counselor to mentally ill adults. I have worked in numerous settings and with varied populations and I am passionate about the profound change that treatment can offer. I feel privileged to engage in this work. I have in depth knowledge and background in addiction and codependency. I prefer to practice in person rather than online.
