Professional Statement

Hello! My name is Caroline De La Cruz and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I have been licensed in California since 2022, with most of my experience being in depression and anxiety disorders. I primarily practice from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and narrative approaches. I use traditional talk therapy to help my clients feel safe in exploring how their past stories are currently impacting their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. My hope is to build a better relationship with our bodies and emotions so we can manage them and feel back in control of our lives instead of emotions controlling life for us.
