I am a psychologist licensed in California with over 15 years of mental health experience. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and anger management. I completed internships at the community mental health clinic, chronic pain program and LGBT Center. My personal and professional interests converge on the issues of meaning and satisfaction in life.
I believe that my approach to therapy should depend on your individual preferences and needs. I often combine existential therapy where the primary attention is given to making sense of existence with cognitive-behavioral therapy to address specific issues having to do with how we think and act. My hope is not to offer answers but help you find them. The desired result is the sense of increased satisfaction, freedom and happiness.
I find my work interesting because the people I am privileged to work with are infinitely different.
