I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who has worked extensively with adolescents and adults who have struggled with depression, anxiety, trauma, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), self-esteem issues, and life transitions, to name a few. Additionally, the clients that I have helped have come from various diverse backgrounds, from being in the foster system, former juvenile hall clients, various SES backgrounds, different cultural/ethnic backgrounds, K-12 aged clients, adult clients, and court mandated clients. I have 12 years of experience in the mental health field. I completed my Master of Science (MS) in Marriage and Family Therapy at California State University, Dominguez Hills. I also completed a Master of Science (MS) in Student Development in Higher Education at California State University, Long Beach. My goal is always to help clients reach their goals in addition to building a positive therapeutic relationship. Clients know that I provide a safe space for them to be themselves and feel free to talk about whatever they need help on without ever feeling judged. My philosophy is that if a client feels supported, validated, and has a strong therapeutic relationship with me, that everything else will fall into place. I have a strong ability to help clients feel like their best selves by being empathic and understanding. I also help clients feel better by getting them to laugh, as I feel laughter is important for feeling happier. If you are looking for a therapist where you can feel like your best self, feel relaxed, and feel happier, look no further as I am the right therapist for you. We all struggle with obstacles in our lives that hold us back. We all can use extra support from an outside source to help us overcome these obstacles.
