Dr. Susana Castellanos, PhD, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who was born and raised in the Central Valley of California. She attended California State University, Fresno for her undergraduate education and obtained her doctoral degree from California School of Professional Psychology, AIU in Fresno, CA. Dr. Castellanos is a proud Veteran of the United Stated Air Force and completed her APA accredited predoctoral internship with the USAF at Wright-Patterson, AFB in Ohio. Dr. Castellanos has been practicing Clinical Psychology for more than 18 years. Since becoming a licensed Clinical Psychologist, she has worked for the Department of Defense and also practices privately working with nonmilitary populations. She has experience in treating a variety of mental health issues including mood disorders, PTSD and personality disorders. She practices evidence based treatments including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)), Prolong Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) (Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Missed and Late Cancel Office Policy: Our office requires two full business days’ notice (48 hours) to cancel or reschedule your appointment or your credit card will be charged a late cancellation fee. Saturdays, Sundays, and Legal Holidays are not counted as business days (i.e., if you have an appointment on Monday at 11:00 am, and you wish to change it without penalty, you would need to call our office on the preceding Thursday morning before 11:00 a.m. to avoid the late cancellation fee). The late cancellation fee is $150 for a session with a psychiatrist, or $100 for a session with a psychologist or master’s level therapist. If you are not present at the start time of your scheduled appointment, it may be marked as missed by your provider. Unfortunately, we cannot bill your insurance for late cancellations, missed sessions, and appointments with too little time. We apologize that there are no exceptions to the late cancellation policy.
