After graduating from the University of San Diego with a degree in biology and minors in chemistry and philosophy, I attended medical school at the University at Buffalo in New York. I graduated as one of the valedictorians of my class in 2012 with my medical degree. I returned to San Diego for my psychiatry residency which I completed at UCSD in 2016.

I am a board certified psychiatrist who deeply cares about helping people their best lives. I treat adults with a wide variety of mental health conditions and work with individuals formulating the right plan for them. I am passionate about developing strong relationships since I believe this is the cornerstone to effective treatment.

Missed and Late Cancel Office Policy: Our office requires two full business days’ notice (48 hours) to cancel or reschedule your appointment or your credit card will be charged a late cancellation fee. Saturdays, Sundays, and Legal Holidays are not counted as business days (i.e., if you have an appointment on Monday at 11:00 am, and you wish to change it without penalty, you would need to call our office on the preceding Thursday morning before 11:00 a.m. to avoid the late cancellation fee). The late cancellation fee is $150 for a session with a psychiatrist, or $100 for a session with a psychologist or master’s level therapist. If you are not present at the start time of your scheduled appointment, it may be marked as missed by your provider. Unfortunately, we cannot bill your insurance for late cancellations, missed sessions, and appointments with too little time. We apologize that there are no exceptions to the late cancellation policy.
