Dr. Oelberger is a licensed Psychologist based in Los Angeles. He received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology through the Saybrook Graduate School He holds a Certification in Sports psychology- having trained with a Navy Seal in order to target emotional obstacles to performance amongst athletes.
Richard has a book published two books, his most recent of which, “The Zero Method” focuses on self empowerment and ownership of healing from within and reaching your highest potential. His Master’s thesis focused on Treatment and understanding of Post -Traumatic Stress disorder, specifically cultural and historical trends and implications for treatment.
For five years, Dr. Oelberger devoted his time to the public mental health system in Los Angeles. Most recently, focusing on eliminating homelessness and traumatic responses on Skid Row, an area embodied with stress and dysregulation.

Missed and Late Cancel Office Policy: Our
office requires two
full business days’ notice (48 hours) to cancel or reschedule your
appointment or your credit card will be charged a late cancellation fee.
Saturdays, Sundays, and Legal Holidays are not counted as business days
(i.e., if you have an appointment on Monday at 11:00 am, and you wish to
change it without penalty, you would need to call our office on the
preceding Thursday morning before 11:00 a.m. to avoid the late cancellation
fee). The late cancellation fee is $150 for a session with a psychiatrist,
or $100 for a session with a psychologist or master’s level therapist. If
you are not present at the start time of your scheduled appointment, it may
be marked as missed by your provider. Unfortunately, we cannot bill your
insurance for late cancellations, missed sessions, and appointments with too
little time. We apologize that there are no exceptions to the late
cancellation policy.
