Dr. Tanna is a licensed clinical psychologist who has a been working with Adolescents and adults for over 15 years. Her undergraduate education was completed in New Jersey and her doctoral training was from the American School of Professional Psychology in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her experience has taught her that people are forever evolving and transforming as they move through the different stages of life. Often times, these transitions are challenging which is why Dr. Tanna is passionate about helping clients find clarity while encouraging them to use their inner strength to guide themselves towards positive change and continual growth. She is highly motivated, curious and dedicated to understanding the behavioral and emotional condition of her clients. Dr. Tanna's most valuable tool is her 'self ' and she believes that through genuineness, empathic understanding and utilizing skillful interventions, clients can achieve a deep and meaningful connection with themselves and others.
In terms of her approach to therapy, Dr. Tanna's style is integrative, evidence-based and culturally informed which allows her to meet the various needs of clients effectively. She is able to treat clients' who struggle with a variety of concerns such as depression, substance use, anxiety, trauma and stress management.

Missed and Late Cancel Office Policy: Our
office requires two
full business days’ notice (48 hours) to cancel or reschedule your
appointment or your credit card will be charged a late cancellation fee.
Saturdays, Sundays, and Legal Holidays are not counted as business days
(i.e., if you have an appointment on Monday at 11:00 am, and you wish to
change it without penalty, you would need to call our office on the
preceding Thursday morning before 11:00 a.m. to avoid the late cancellation
fee). The late cancellation fee is $150 for a session with a psychiatrist,
or $100 for a session with a psychologist or master’s level therapist. If
you are not present at the start time of your scheduled appointment, it may
be marked as missed by your provider. Unfortunately, we cannot bill your
insurance for late cancellations, missed sessions, and appointments with too
little time. We apologize that there are no exceptions to the late
cancellation policy.
