Dr. Melanie R. Cleary is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has worked with adult individuals since 2007. Therapy is a confidential space to explore areas where you are feeling stuck, experiencing difficulty, or contemplating change, with the goal of feeling more confident and whole as a person. Individuals seeking therapy often present with issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship problems, spiritual/existential questions, and various forms of addiction (pornography, hypersexuality, substance Abuse (Physical, Sexual, etc.)). Dr. Cleary creates a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere, and approaches the work from a Harm Reduction perspective because people deserve help at any stage of use or recovery. Abstinence is not a requirement for receiving treatment. Many times, addiction is accompanied by interactions with the legal system and therapy can be a space to express challenging thoughts and feelings about legal problems or experiences of incarceration. Dr. Cleary strives to practice from an open and creative stance, focusing on the patient's unique strengths and inner wisdom as tools for transformation and growth.

Missed and Late Cancel Office Policy: Our office requires two full business days’ notice (48 hours) to cancel or reschedule your appointment or your credit card will be charged a late cancellation fee. Saturdays, Sundays, and Legal Holidays are not counted as business days (i.e., if you have an appointment on Monday at 11:00 am, and you wish to change it without penalty, you would need to call our office on the preceding Thursday morning before 11:00 a.m. to avoid the late cancellation fee). The late cancellation fee is $150 for a session with a psychiatrist, or $100 for a session with a psychologist or master’s level therapist. If you are not present at the start time of your scheduled appointment, it may be marked as missed by your provider. Unfortunately, we cannot bill your insurance for late cancellations, missed sessions, and appointments with too little time. We apologize that there are no exceptions to the late cancellation policy.
