Dr. Lori Marantz, MD

Dr. Lori Marantz is a board-certified psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience providing comprehensive mental health care in a variety of clinical settings, including large healthcare systems, community mental health clinics, and private practice. She has extensive experience in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and developing individualized treatment plans to address patients' mental health needs.

Since 2012, Dr. Marantz has practiced psychiatry with Kaiser Permanente in Southern California, where she provides evidence-based psychiatric care and collaborates closely with therapists, nurses, and social workers. Her experience includes treating patients with a wide range of psychiatric conditions, providing clinical consultations, and coordinating referrals for specialized treatments and higher levels of care when appropriate.

Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Dr. Marantz worked in several clinical settings in Maryland, including Johns Hopkins Community Psychiatry Clinic, St. Joseph Hospital, and her own private practice. These experiences have given her a broad understanding of mental health treatment across outpatient, inpatient, and community-based settings.

Dr. Marantz earned her medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident of the Urgent Care and Consultation Liaison departments. She is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
