Clinical psychologist, Dr. Laura Korkoian earned her Psy.D from the California School of Professional Psychology in 1999. She specialized in child and family therapy with an emphasis in psychodynamic training. Dr. Korkoian interned at Santa Anita Family Services in Monrovia, The Switzer Center in Torrance focusing on children with intellectual disabilities and the Wright Institute seeing adults. After graduation, Dr. Korkoian completed a two -year fellowship at the Reiss-Davis Child Study Center/ Vista Del Mar.

Dr. Korkoian has spent the last 20 years working in television. She has a great understanding of the entertainment business and enjoys working with clients behind and in front of the camera.

Missed and Late Cancel Office Policy: Our office requires two full business days’ notice (48 hours) to cancel or reschedule your appointment or your credit card will be charged a late cancellation fee. Saturdays, Sundays, and Legal Holidays are not counted as business days (i.e., if you have an appointment on Monday at 11:00 am, and you wish to change it without penalty, you would need to call our office on the preceding Thursday morning before 11:00 a.m. to avoid the late cancellation fee). The late cancellation fee is $150 for a session with a psychiatrist, or $100 for a session with a psychologist or master’s level therapist. If you are not present at the start time of your scheduled appointment, it may be marked as missed by your provider. Unfortunately, we cannot bill your insurance for late cancellations, missed sessions, and appointments with too little time. We apologize that there are no exceptions to the late cancellation policy.
