Using empathy, collaboration, intuition, open mindedness & humor, we will identify automatic ways of thinking, & behaving- that show up as internal conflict, self-sabotage, low self-esteem, depression, relationship struggles & anxiety. I have a wide array of experience, working with diverse populations, including people of color, people with depression and anxiety, those experiencing psychosis, queer identified folks, folks with complex PTSD & developmental trauma, adult children or alcoholics/emotionally immature parents/narcissists. I enjoy working with people who identify as a HSP (Highly Sensitive Person) or an Empath.
I'm warm & collaborative, process oriented & interactive. I am not overly directive or authoritative. I utilize psychodynamic and humanistic therapeutic techniques, but also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy if appropriate. I provide a safe space for you to process your thoughts and emotions. I believe that the therapeutic relationship provides a reparative experience & facilitates healing.
Contacting a therapist can be overwhelming. Doing so takes courage and shows your innate desire to heal. Vulnerability is a great strength. Let go of who you think you should be and embrace the freedom of your true authenticity. 'Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do.' Missed and Late Cancel Office Policy: Our
office requires two
full business days’ notice (48 hours) to cancel or reschedule your
appointment or your credit card will be charged a late cancellation fee.
Saturdays, Sundays, and Legal Holidays are not counted as business days
(i.e., if you have an appointment on Monday at 11:00 am, and you wish to
change it without penalty, you would need to call our office on the
preceding Thursday morning before 11:00 a.m. to avoid the late cancellation
fee). The late cancellation fee is $150 for a session with a psychiatrist,
or $100 for a session with a psychologist or master’s level therapist. If
you are not present at the start time of your scheduled appointment, it may
be marked as missed by your provider. Unfortunately, we cannot bill your
insurance for late cancellations, missed sessions, and appointments with too
little time. We apologize that there are no exceptions to the late
cancellation policy.
