Dr. Joseph Madrid believes all people should have the opportunity to reach their full potential, contribute to society, and have a voice. He has worked in a spectrum of services including inpatient/outpatient behavioral health services at St. Joseph Hospital, at-risk youth programs, worker compensation system, and longer-term outpatient treatment settings as well as private practice. Joseph is a therapist that empowers clients by using an integrative approach to his clinical work, matching evidence-based treatments from a range of psychotherapies, Psychodynamic, Schema-Therapy, Humanistic, Cognitive-Behavioral, Transtheoretical Model, and Family Systems that is individualized to each client he sees to best meet their actual needs. Joseph received his BA from Vanguard University, Master of Social Work from University of Southern California, and completed his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In addition, his specialties include relationship issues, workplace conflict, marital problems, mental health disorders, treatment-resistant persistent depression, personality difficulties, life adjustment, substance/addiction Abuse (Physical, Sexual, etc.), and grief and loss. Joseph is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and he is also a pre-licensed Psychologist.
