Hannia Fernandez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a demonstrated history of working with county organizations, the health care industry (managed care), and private practice. She has an extensive history of treating children and adolescents, as well as groups from different racial and cultural backgrounds.

Hannia truly believes in the resilience of the human spirit and the development of skills to attend to self and others. Hannia believes in the holistic perspective of the individual but understands the importance of tailored services to the needs of each of her clients. She values the process of self-discovery and forgiveness to restore hope.

Hannia has experience in facilitating psychotherapeutic groups in different communities in Los Angeles County. Furthermore, Hannia spends most of her time providing counseling services to adolescents and young adults, as well as disenfranchised communities in Costa Rica. Hannia provides therapeutic and counseling services to assist Spanish-speaking clients.

Missed and Late Cancel Office Policy: Our office requires two full business days’ notice (48 hours) to cancel or reschedule your appointment or your credit card will be charged a late cancellation fee. Saturdays, Sundays, and Legal Holidays are not counted as business days (i.e., if you have an appointment on Monday at 11:00 am, and you wish to change it without penalty, you would need to call our office on the preceding Thursday morning before 11:00 a.m. to avoid the late cancellation fee). The late cancellation fee is $150 for a session with a psychiatrist, or $100 for a session with a psychologist or master’s level therapist. If you are not present at the start time of your scheduled appointment, it may be marked as missed by your provider. Unfortunately, we cannot bill your insurance for late cancellations, missed sessions, and appointments with too little time. We apologize that there are no exceptions to the late cancellation policy.
