Nice to Meet You
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Washington. My focus is on working with adults and Adolescents individually with varying issues. I see the therapeutic process as a transformative and healing experience.
My specialties include working with clients who are dealing with relationship issues, life transitions, anxiety, multicultural concerns, women's issues, depression, disordered eating, and body image issues. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and blend elements from other approaches to tailor treatment to meet the needs of the client.
Being the daughter of Chinese immigrants, I have firsthand experience straddling between cultures, cross cultural barriers, and intersectional identities. As an Asian American therapist, I am committed to providing culturally competent treatment. My approach to therapy uses clients’ strengths, and my style is warm, collaborative, and empathic.
