Nice to Meet You

I take a holistic, eclectic, and collaborative approach, adapting care to meet each client's needs—whether I'm working with individuals, couples, families, or parents. Trauma work is at the heart of my practice, and I'm especially passionate about supporting survivors of domestic violence, relational trauma, childhood trauma, and sexual trauma. I'm trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective approach for processing and healing trauma, and I combine it with somatic techniques to help clients heal in the body, not just cognitively.

I help clients process their life experiences, identify what's impeding their quality of life, and build tools for lasting change. I have extensive experience working with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, and depression, grounded in the belief that resilience and strength already exist within each person. I have particular expertise—and a real passion—for working with couples, including high-conflict couples. Drawing on the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and attachment theory, I help partners break ingrained negative cycles, rebuild trust and respect, and move through conflict with more curiosity and less blame. Whether navigating a major life transition or healing after infidelity, I help couples strengthen communication, deepen intimacy, and build a relationship that feels both secure and fulfilling.

Whether it's a client's first time in therapy or they have previous experience, I attune to what each person needs, supporting them while also challenging them when helpful and offering feedback, new ideas, and different perspectives along the way. I strive to show up as my authentic self, using humor when appropriate, so clients feel safe to do the same.

I am an ally to the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities and actively engage in my own anti-racism work to examine my privilege and continue growing as a culturally responsive therapist.
