Nice to Meet You
I am a psychologist licensed in California with over 20 years of mental health experience. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and anger management. I completed internships at the community mental health clinic, chronic pain program and LGBTQ + Issues and Concerns Center. My personal and professional interests converge on the issues of meaning and satisfaction in life.
I believe that my approach to therapy should depend on your individual preferences and needs. I often combine existential therapy where the primary attention is given to making sense of existence with cognitive-behavioral therapy to address specific issues having to do with how we think and act. My hope is not to offer answers but help you find them. The desired result is the sense of increased satisfaction, freedom and happiness.
I find my work interesting because the people I am privileged to work with are infinitely different.

Missed and Late Cancel Office Policy: Our
office requires two
full business days’ notice (48 hours) to cancel or reschedule your
appointment or your credit card will be charged a late cancellation fee.
Saturdays, Sundays, and Legal Holidays are not counted as business days
(i.e., if you have an appointment on Monday at 11:00 am, and you wish to
change it without penalty, you would need to call our office on the
preceding Thursday morning before 11:00 a.m. to avoid the late cancellation
fee). The late cancellation fee is $150 for a session with a psychiatrist,
or $100 for a session with a psychologist or master’s level therapist. If
you are not present at the start time of your scheduled appointment, it may
be marked as missed by your provider. Unfortunately, we cannot bill your
insurance for late cancellations, missed sessions, and appointments with too
little time. We apologize that there are no exceptions to the late
cancellation policy.
