Hello, I am Dr. Beverly Norton. I have been a licensed psychologist for over a decade. I have experience working with people from different backgrounds who are struggling with a variety of obstacles. I have helped people with different diagnoses and/or life problems including depression, anxiety, trauma, LGBTQ + Issues and ConcernsQ issues, and addiction to name a few. I am trained to work with people with traumatic histories through Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)) and I also have experience working with couples using techniques developed by John and Julie Gottman. The Gottman's have done research with couples for over 40 years and I have seen great results using their methods. Over the years my clients have told me they find me to be caring, intuitive, nonjudgmental, and direct. If you are motivated to see change in your life, I can help you to understand yourself better with compassion and authenticity in a safe environment.

Missed and Late Cancel Office Policy: Our office requires two full business days’ notice (48 hours) to cancel or reschedule your appointment or your credit card will be charged a late cancellation fee. Saturdays, Sundays, and Legal Holidays are not counted as business days (i.e., if you have an appointment on Monday at 11:00 am, and you wish to change it without penalty, you would need to call our office on the preceding Thursday morning before 11:00 a.m. to avoid the late cancellation fee). The late cancellation fee is $150 for a session with a psychiatrist, or $100 for a session with a psychologist or master’s level therapist. If you are not present at the start time of your scheduled appointment, it may be marked as missed by your provider. Unfortunately, we cannot bill your insurance for late cancellations, missed sessions, and appointments with too little time. We apologize that there are no exceptions to the late cancellation policy.
