Hello, I am Andre Maxie! I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist with 11 years of experience providing counseling to clients in need. I earned my Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from National University and my Masters in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in marriage and family therapy from National University. I've worked in many different clinical settings over the years. I am a passionate and empathetic therapist with strong counseling abilities and an understanding of interpersonal familial relationships. I have experience leading clients through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and strength based approaches. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side to overcome traumas, and barriers to success. I am fully committed to listen and offer my best professional practices to help you. My therapy style is easy going and relaxed. You can count on my empathetic and person-centered approach towards every conversation we take part on. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support and empower you. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you get where you want to go. I look forward to our journey.

Missed and Late Cancel Office Policy: Our
office requires two
full business days’ notice (48 hours) to cancel or reschedule your
appointment or your credit card will be charged a late cancellation fee.
Saturdays, Sundays, and Legal Holidays are not counted as business days
(i.e., if you have an appointment on Monday at 11:00 am, and you wish to
change it without penalty, you would need to call our office on the
preceding Thursday morning before 11:00 a.m. to avoid the late cancellation
fee). The late cancellation fee is $150 for a session with a psychiatrist,
or $100 for a session with a psychologist or master’s level therapist. If
you are not present at the start time of your scheduled appointment, it may
be marked as missed by your provider. Unfortunately, we cannot bill your
insurance for late cancellations, missed sessions, and appointments with too
little time. We apologize that there are no exceptions to the late
cancellation policy.
