Many people, like those I work with, feel that because of experiences in their past, they are not able to live as fully and happily as they wish. Often, putting life experiences and emotions into words, with the help and support of an interested, concerned therapist, is the first step towards becoming free to live fully. In psychotherapy, each person sets their own pace, but newer, effective approaches enable most people to reach their therapeutic goals more quickly than they could with older methods. As a board-certified clinical psychologist with more than twenty years' successful experience providing psychotherapy, coaching, and consultation, I work within a mentor/ counselor model, using my experience and expertise to provide knowledge as well as support to clients. Clients I have worked with have been pleased with my focus on their strengths and my interactive approach. They express awareness of my deep and sincere wish for them to live satisfying and meaningful lives. I work extensively with US born and immigrant individuals and Family, including survivors of trauma.

Missed and Late Cancel Office Policy: Our office requires two full business days’ notice (48 hours) to cancel or reschedule your appointment or your credit card will be charged a late cancellation fee. Saturdays, Sundays, and Legal Holidays are not counted as business days (i.e., if you have an appointment on Monday at 11:00 am, and you wish to change it without penalty, you would need to call our office on the preceding Thursday morning before 11:00 a.m. to avoid the late cancellation fee). The late cancellation fee is $150 for a session with a psychiatrist, or $100 for a session with a psychologist or master’s level therapist. If you are not present at the start time of your scheduled appointment, it may be marked as missed by your provider. Unfortunately, we cannot bill your insurance for late cancellations, missed sessions, and appointments with too little time. We apologize that there are no exceptions to the late cancellation policy.
