My work experience is with parents (biological, foster, step), group-home/foster youths, the formerly incarcerated and in crisis intervention. My educational background is in Counseling (MFT from SDSU). Clinically, my focus is in individual psychotherapy. My approach is Post-Modern, Narrative Therapy with Motivational Interviewing and Humanistic Therapy concepts. My focus is on supporting the individual in developing the best version of themselves to properly face the challenges of life with a sense of courage, honor, and sincerity. I listen deeply to understand my clients and their values, I want to know what is meaningful for them. I challenge them to use their values to attack their problems with purpose and clarity. Ideal clients are strong in the areas of self-reflection, objectivity, and openness to feedback.

Missed and Late Cancel Office Policy: Our office requires two full business days’ notice (48 hours) to cancel or reschedule your appointment or your credit card will be charged a late cancellation fee. Saturdays, Sundays, and Legal Holidays are not counted as business days (i.e., if you have an appointment on Monday at 11:00 am, and you wish to change it without penalty, you would need to call our office on the preceding Thursday morning before 11:00 a.m. to avoid the late cancellation fee). The late cancellation fee is $150 for a session with a psychiatrist, or $100 for a session with a psychologist or master’s level therapist. If you are not present at the start time of your scheduled appointment, it may be marked as missed by your provider. Unfortunately, we cannot bill your insurance for late cancellations, missed sessions, and appointments with too little time. We apologize that there are no exceptions to the late cancellation policy.
