I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in California. Also, I am a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization Movement (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)) Therapist, I provide adaptive resources and support, in a safe and calm space, to allow clients the opportunity to begin processing and healing from emotional wounds and adverse life experiences (regardless, if the traumatic and distressful event happened recently or years ago). Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) is a simple, yet efficient and powerful form of psychotherapy that offers psychological and therapeutic relief for a variety of symptoms. Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) is well - researched, evidenced-based, in treating emotional wounds resulting from traumatic events, intrusive thoughts, distressful feelings, and maladaptive actions/behaviors. I have experience serving and supporting individuals from diverse gender, racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds. I have worked as a psychotherapist in various schools, mental health counseling centers, offices and clinics (throughout the San Francisco Bay Area). Additionally, I utilize a trauma-informed, strength-based, and mindfulness approach to meet clients where they are, offering therapeutic support to children, Adolescents, adults, couples, and Family.
