Professional Statement
In treating anxiety, depression, challenging life changes, or identity issues, I accompany clients through a process of increasing insight, skill building, and self-awareness through a lively engagement with everything we might take for granted. Awakening (or reawakening) deep compassion and curiosity about ourselves and the world is the first step and the foundation of my treatment approach. My education in philosophy, politics, and the arts has dyed the fabric of my identity as a person and therapist. In my clinical work, I embrace the importance of seeing a person's full social and relational context as integral to healing. If you are seeking opportunities to invite personal change, space and time to explore new perspectives on longstanding issues, and help in accessing those parts of yourself that long for development, please do not hesitate to contact me for a free consultation.
