I have extensive experience working with PTSD and other anxiety and Depression. I am a California transplant from the Northeast, with Italian, European, and Native American ancestry. I believe we are emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual beings. So I use an intuitive, empathic, yet direct, holistic integrative approach, including the following modalities but not limited to: * Guided journeying and relaxation techniques * Somatic (body-focused) interventions * Storytelling and metaphor * Jungian perspectives, dream analysis, depth psychology * Art therapy * Mother wound and father wound work & psychodynamic * Qigong * Tantra I believe exploring one's family history including the ancestral lineage - when appropriate - can shed light on old patterns, so sometimes regression work is helpful. My gifts as an artist and writer bring a perspective that allows the metaphorical and subconscious to arise, with deeper insights and healing.
