Professional Statement
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and received my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles. I’ve been working in the mental health field for 5 years, treating individual, couples, and families; working in Community-Based, Outpatient and Justice-Involved Mental Health Settings. I have experience in various therapy modalities including, EMDR, Mindfulness, Narrative, mind-body awareness techniques, CBT among others, addressing issues surrounding depression, anxiety, PTSD and many other mental health conditions. I believe therapy is a powerful tool on the road of self-awareness and I strive to help individuals achieve their life goals and address personal life challenges, at their own pace. I am passionate about helping clients become their true authentic selves by healing from past traumas and current life challenges, so they can enjoy their life to the fullest. In my free time, I enjoy practicing mindfulness meditations, biodynamic breath work and further increasing my knowledge in self-healing practices. I believe that a good therapeutic relationship is crucial for the client to feel free to explore deeper aspects of themselves, discover their strengths, and create meaningful lives.
