John Spudich, PsyD Adolescent and Adult Psychotherapy
Professional Statement
Dr. John Spudich has extensive experience working with clients facing depression, anxiety, issues of grief and loss, relationship struggles, and difficult life transitions. He has a deep appreciation of the impact of the early environment on unmanageable states in the current day and how trauma expresses itself and can be treated. He is particularly attuned to diverse cultural values and how they inform therapeutic work. As an artist himself, he also enjoys working with individuals' creativity and has a personal understanding of many issues particular to artists. Dr. Spudich prioritizes individuality in this highly personal process, while at the same time bringing to bear modern science and psychological theory. His approach has at its cornerstone adaptability: some clients require direct and immediate guidance while others appreciate more space in which to tell their story.
