Thank you for considering me as your therapist to join you in your journey toward an improved overall well-being. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been in the field for approximately 7 years. I have spent most of my career working in a forensic setting in the Department of State Hospitals and local county jails. My experience is rooted in trauma informed care to assist individuals who are struggling with a variety of experiences including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, and substance use among others. My goal is to empower clients to gain insight to understand these struggles a bit more through psychoeducation while working on concrete coping skills. We will work together to establish short term and long term goals to be accomplished during session. I have worked with a variety of populations including families, adolescents, adults, and adults with a history of being incarcerated. I come from a law enforcement family and have worked side by side with law enforcement staff which has led me to understand the difficulties that come within the experience of a first responder. It takes a lot of courage to take that first step in looking for help. That first step can lead to a fulfilling journey of self-discovery in a very safe and judgment free space. I will empower you to accomplish the goals we create which will foster a higher overall quality of life.
