Heather Morris, MFT Adults
Professional Statement
The special relationship between client and therapist is key to effective psychotherapy. It is a useful way of exploring how we connect with and relate to others. My approach can be described as compassionate, accepting, and gently empowering. I believe in the power of recovery and I work from a place of curiosity, hope and strength with each of my clients. Together, we may identify patterns in your feelings, thoughts and beliefs that might be contributing to current issues that you face, including those in your most important relationships. As we acknowledge patterns and explore your coping resources we will build insight and set the stage for positive change. I am a licensed psychotherapist with over 15 years in practice with adults working on depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, other anxiety disorders, and relationship issues. I have a special interest and expertise in working with people who are shy, identify as introverts or experience social anxiety. I look forward to connecting with you.
