Professional Statement
Anindita Ganguly, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in California since 8/1999. Her past clinical experiences include working with children and families in the Children System of Care and adults and children in an outpatient community clinic setting in San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health (SBC-DBH), school based counseling through SBC-DBH, and private practice. Dr. Ganguly utilizes traditional and third wave cognitive behavioral models, and psychodynamic, particularly attachment theory models, in working with clients.It is critical to create safe and nonjudgmental spaces so that clients can fully engage in therapy and collaborate with therapy goals. Dr. Ganguly values cultural humility and cultural sensitivity in working with diverse people and is very client centered and collaborative with clients in reaching their goals. Additionally, Dr. Ganguly has taught for the past 14 years in the field of psychology and social work, such as, Arizona State University-School of Social Work and University of California Riverside-Extension.
