Dr. Dolatabadi is a licensed clinical psychologist. She provides compassion and direction in increasing one’s quality of life, overcoming obstacles, cultivating resilience, managing stress, and enhancing one’s artistic and/or professional work performance. Dr. Dolatabadi offers an eclectic approach by integrating contemporary psychoanalytic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques depending on each patient’s needs. Her predoctoral and postdoctoral residencies included working with artists at the California Colleges of Arts in Berkeley and, with medical professionals, faculty and staff at the University of California, San Francisco. She is also currently the post-doctoral training director at the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program at UCSF and specializes in working therapeutically with physician residents and fellows. Dr. Dolatabadi enjoys meeting new people and working with diverse populations including LGBTQ. She welcomes you as you are.
