I’m Laura Murillo, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and growth. I believe that meaningful therapy begins with authenticity and compassion. It’s within that space that trust is built, and true change can unfold. My practice offers a safe, intentional environment to explore life’s challenges—both past and present. Together, we can work through unresolved trauma, establish healthy boundaries, and create more fulfilling, connected relationships. My approach is strength-based and eclectic, drawing from a variety of evidence-based practices tailored to each person’s needs. I specialize in trauma-informed care and mindfulness, supported by my own 20-year personal meditation practice. I believe in the power of presence and awareness to foster integration and healing. Outside of the therapy room, you’ll find me traveling, gardening, reading, teaching, meditating—and smiling often.

Missed and Late Cancel Office Policy: Our office requires two full business days’ notice (48 hours) to cancel or reschedule your appointment or your credit card will be charged a late cancellation fee. Saturdays, Sundays, and Legal Holidays are not counted as business days (i.e., if you have an appointment on Monday at 11:00 am, and you wish to change it without penalty, you would need to call our office on the preceding Thursday morning before 11:00 a.m. to avoid the late cancellation fee). The late cancellation fee is $150 for a session with a psychiatrist, or $100 for a session with a psychologist or master’s level therapist. If you are not present at the start time of your scheduled appointment, it may be marked as missed by your provider. Unfortunately, we cannot bill your insurance for late cancellations, missed sessions, and appointments with too little time. We apologize that there are no exceptions to the late cancellation policy.
